U.S. Roster Set for International Test
Team USA brings a dynamic mix of experience and emerging talent into the second World Cup of the season.
The men’s team includes Tyler Evans, Tim Sabdenbek, Michael Arishita, Hayden Marrs, Luke Filar, and Tristen Bell. Each athlete brings valuable international experience and continues to build consistency across all five disciplines.
On the women’s side, Rebecca Langrehr, Phaelen French, Madison Gonzalez, and Hannah Kim will represent the United States. The group has shown strong form in training and looks to carry that momentum into competition.
Building Momentum in Berlin
In the lead-up to World Cup 2, several senior national team athletes took part in a high-performance training camp in Berlin. Led by Head Coach Vaho Iagorashvili and assisted by Coach Thora Meyer-Efland, the camp focused on technical development, competitive preparation, and strengthening team cohesion.
Training at Berlin’s historic Olympic venues provided a unique opportunity to work across all five disciplines in a centralized setting. Athletes also benefited from multinational training environments, particularly in fencing, where exposure to a variety of styles helped sharpen tactical awareness and adaptability.
The camp also emphasized team culture, as athletes built connections and reinforced a shared commitment to performance ahead of a busy international schedule.
Eyes on World Cup 2
With preparations complete, the focus now shifts to execution in Pazardzhik. World Cup 2 presents an important early-season benchmark, offering athletes the opportunity to measure progress against a competitive international field.
Team USA enters the competition with confidence, cohesion, and a clear goal: to translate strong preparation into results on the world stage.
