Update from special USAPM Board Call November 24

On the evening of November 24th, the USAPM Board of Directors met to discuss the forthcoming actions to be taken at the UIPM Congress. After a short discussion in executive session in which athlete representative feedback was the central consideration, the following statement was unanimously approved.
"USAPM BOD unanimously supports the decision to introduce Pentathlon to the LA 2028 program, with a to-be-determined 5th discipline. USAPM BOD strongly supports and recommends that an equestrian event be considered as the 5th discipline."
Directors Rob Stull and John Helmick, as members of the UIPM Executive Board, recused themselves from the vote on this motion.
The USAPM Board instructed Directors Rob Stull and John Helmick to advocate for this position at the UIPM Congress.
