USAPM Charlotte Resident Program
Team Selection Guidelines #
The Charlotte Resident Program (CRP) is a development initiative of USA Pentathlon Multisport, operated in partnership with the US Performance Center in Charlotte, NC. This application-only program is designed to identify, support, and elevate athletes with exceptional potential across the core disciplines of modern pentathlon: fencing, swimming, running, shooting, and obstacle (OCR/ninja).
The CRP Team offers a high-performance training environment focused on technical mastery, athletic development, and multi-discipline exposure. It serves as a critical pipeline to national and international competition, preparing athletes to represent the United States at the highest levels.
Program Details #

- Individualized performance plans
- Athlete agreements outlining goals, conduct, and expectations
Participation is performance-based, with periodic evaluations to ensure continued alignment with program standards.
Short-term training opportunities may be available for qualified non-resident athletes, subject to application approval and space availability at the USPC. If accepted, these athletes will pay a per diem and may receive partial or full support based on review by the USA Pentathlon Multisport performance team.
