USAPM Town Hall Meeting

Dear Members of the Pentathlon Community,


USA Pentathlon Multisport would like to invite you to a Town Hall meeting with Board Chair, Tom Shepard, CEO Rob Stull, and USAPM staff to go over important updates and the following agenda items below.  USAPM strives to keep all members informed with this meeting being one vehicle to have an opportunity to speak directly with the organization.  It is our goal moving forward to have quarterly town hall zoom meetings to ensure all members have access to the most up-to-date information and answer your questions.

Agenda:

  1. Frequency and format for ongoing Town Halls and Athlete Listening sessions
  2. The system that is in place to timely communicate details surrounding sanctioned events, special workouts, and training exercises (e.g., event locations, start times, and expected athlete arrival times, correct lodging and travel information, and any changes to the event logistics that may occur after the initial information is communicated).
  3. USAPM's governance policies and procedures, including but not limited to,
    1. The Grievance Policy and Procedures
    2. Whistleblower and Anti-Retaliation Policy and Procedures
    3. Conflicts of Interest Policy and Disclosure Procedures
    4. SafeSport reporting requirements and training
    5. The physical and mental health resources, and financial support available to athletes and the process and qualification requirements to receive such support
  4. The procedures in place to ensure athlete safety at events
  5. The application process to select a person or entity for an event sanction
  6. The process to approve licenses for athletes competing in equestrian events
