Athlete Spotlight - Avery Yue

In her 11 years as a pentathlete, Avery Yue has won her age division at 5 US National Championships, 3 International NORCECA competitions, and 1 Olympic Qualifier. She has been the #1 ranked US female pentathlete in her age division 5 times. She has represented Team USA and medaled in her age group at: Biathle Worlds (1 silver) and Triathle Worlds (1 silver) in Guatemala and competed as a member of our youth 2022 World Championship Team in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. She has earned a spot on our 2023 All-America Team. Avery is the first female athlete in USA Pentathlon's history to start in our youngest youth division (U9) and compete all the way through to our oldest one (U19). She is currently training for the chance to compete and bring home a medal at the 2024 U19 World Championships in Lithuania and intends to continue training in college. We look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next as she advances to our Senior division, where our Olympic athletes are selected!
