How did you get started in Modern Pentathlon, and what motivated you to pursue it at the international level?

I was a professional triathlete at the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, CO. Being at the training center made aware of the modern pentathlon. I had an interest in the sport and began searching for someone to help me in the process to learn the sport. Lucky for me I had a great coach in Omar Elgeziry who showed me the how to become a true pentathlete.

 

What does representing the United States on the Senior National Team mean to you?

It is an honor, and I take a great deal of pride in representing the USA as a modern pentathlete. I dreamed of the day that I would be able to represent my country as an athlete at the highest level. I’m excited for the future that I have in front of me knowing I have a great deal of support behind me.
